Gold Book (24/10/13)

Tia is a valued member of Year 3, she tries her best, joins in class discussions and gives 100%, please keep it up!

Jack

Jack is growing in confidence every single day, he is working hard on completing tasks set and generally enjoying Year 3 life, I do hope this continues!

Learning Log Target (21/10/13)


Learning Target

To research theatres.

What could you do?
- Research theatres on the internet.
- Print out pictures of theatres
found on the web.
- Research theatres at the library.
- Have a go at drawing a set design
of a scene from The Phantom of the Opera.
- Brainstorm what jobs you think
there may be at a theatre.
- List the things found in a theatre.
- Find out about local theatres.
- Research any famous or historical
theatres.
- Anything else you find out about
theatres.

Class Treat (24/10/13)

Year 3 have filled our class square sheet, therefore they are now owed a class treat, so Thursday morning is our treat time. As a class the pupils have picked a toy morning as a treat. So on Thursday they need to bring a toy of their choice into school. The toys the children bring will be their responsibility, but at break and lunchtime expensive items such as tablets and Nintendo DS' will be safely secured away.

Story Telling Workshop

Today Year 3 took part in a Story Telling Workshop to celebrate Black History Month.
The host was a man called Tomba who comes from Zimbabwe and he taught us the story of the Zimbabwean rain dance, which they do because they have very dry times there.

Grace is a well mannered, polite girl who always sets a good example and gives 100% to everything she does.

Nathan has had a super start to Year 3, he joins in class discussions, shows an active interest in all lessons and always strives to do the right thing, even in difficult situations! Well done!
